Access to safe food is imperative for achieving one of the UN’s key Sustainable Development Goals of Zero Hunger. Food Safety and Risk aims to address this need by providing a multidisciplinary forum for all research relating to food safety. The journal is open access, and examples of topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

- Decontamination methods

- Environmental and climate change effects on food safety
